The word for the day is whatever. I'm done talking about this. It will be done in a week and a half and most likely never to be repeated. We came, we saw, we attempted to kick arse.

PLease see my comments here: sz comments about cost and stuff

I am truely bummed that some people, including those who have given so much (Dnewman, BMX) to the site can't make it to all of the events. However, please read my comments in the other thread.

I am begining to really regret taking this thing on in the first place.

Just as a clarification, the special Guest from SVT is Dave Dempster.

I have a few simple comments:

Don't complain if you were never going to go out to SZ.

Stop whining about the cost. Put aside a few bucks every paycheck and HOLY MOLY, you have $80!!!

As Mark said, the time to voice your ideas/thoughts passed about 5 months ago. Keep the whining and sissy HS talk to PMs. PM each other, or me, if you have problems. They will all go right to the great bit bucket in the sky.

Dave is on the right:

Anyone who finishes his emails & stories with that for a signature is alright in my book.

Don't ever apologize for speaking up. it's how communication takes place.

I agree with everything in your post, Mark. I was getting the impression that people didn't want others to even show up if they didn't pay 80.00. I would think it would be obvious, you don't pay, you don't participate, but people HAVE to be welcome to show up to shoot the [censored].

BTW, the reason I am not going on has nothing to do with the $80.00. I have WAY too much crap going on to get away for even a weekend. And any comments about the cost was purely [censored] with Todd, who deserves all of the abuse people give him.

It's looking like I'm gonna have to be one the outsiders at the show and shine. That's the only event I can make it to and I don't have $80 to spare. And before anyone says how hard is it to save up $80, pretty hard when your paychecks just barely cover your expenses. So where do the non-paid people have to park at the show and shine? Like how far from the "show" area?

WOW this post about sums things up around here, thats for sure. I guess we'll just to have to look forward to our big "unofficial" meets and whatever the big ones are (like the one in Feb w/ 34 cars) will be our version of SZ's I wonder if BEG (BMW Enthusists Group) has these types of problems Like what was said before by many of us, you've had MANY monthes to save $80.00 and once it was a well know fact that this was more than likely the last one, that should've motivated you to attend even more. The monthly meets will continue and they'll be all around town/state, so lets keep that in mind. That being said, please don't complain about a 45 minute drive to downtown Detroit to Belle Isle or a 2 1/2 hour drive to KZoo, its a tired, old bit
