i'm on a fixed budget and have absolutely no spare money, and student loan repayments are coming to boot. i want to hang out and meet with some cool contour people, but i have no desire to race go carts and eat at a hotel. so a "whole" $80 is a lot to me just to meet some people. call me crazy. and if you guys won't hang out with us b/c we didn't pay, then i'm glad i didn't waste my time.
whats hard about that to understand? i can't speak for previous years, as i'm fairly new here, but this air of "you can't hang out at a show and shine with us because you didn't buck up and pay for food and go-carts" really makes me feel unwelcome.
perhaps that is why this may be the last SZ ever....
