The off-road Y-pipe comes with out the Cat. Does that mean it is made longer so that it still bolts up or do you need to add an extension pipe?

It should bolt right up.
The pipes with cats now allow for the cat to be removed "for racing," but you should use a cat when you're not racing (just my input).
BTW, if you haven't seen Merlin's post in General Mods, check out his dyno plots!!
