2. Yes that is the first thing I commented on as well on another site. Funny how a significantly cooler and denser intake charge does that. The reduced heat adds a lot of reliability too.
Yes, very true, and I suppose looking at intake temperature to HP relationship, the HP gained by the cooler air charge will outweigh the loss of maximum boost pressure.
That's what a smaller pulley is for...
Not only that but boost will build a little earlier as well.
