Yes, very true, and I suppose looking at intake temperature to HP relationship, the HP gained by the cooler air charge will outweigh the loss of maximum boost pressure.

Rick- Did you get teh AEM UEGO Wideband hooked up on that thing? Just curious to see how difficult the install was and if it was accurate with the tuning you did with the engine. . .(A/F ration on the gauge vs. from the dyno). . .

That's what a smaller pulley is for...
Not only that but boost will build a little earlier as well.

Rick and I are already discussing how to fit the larger core in there. The one he has was rated to 500 cfm which he obviously out flowed. The new one is rated to 700cfm. This is the one that is on the Beyondloaded project.
