What I don't like is how our tax dollars are being used, like to conquer more oil, rather than things that we really need for example, a national healthcare system. Places like Ireland, where I recently visited, also have 35-40% of their income go to taxes... but everyone has healthcare.



So, only greedy rich Republicans drive SUV's that get 11 mpg? And if you work for your money and get rich, shouldn't you be able to buy whatever kind of car you want? Isn't that the great thing about this country? The government doesn't dicate what we drive. What if we did have national health care? It sounds good in theory,but would you really want the government in charge of that too? Do you want them dictating which doctor you could go to? I could be wrong, but I heard that in Canada (with national healthcare) that it takes a long time to get anything done.
