That's why when I saw it at 77.9 for regular last night I filled up. Everywhere else it had jumped to 89.9 for regular. I'm just lucky I have a sunoco by my house that seems to always raise their prices a couple hours later than anyone else.

Yeah brutal, I filled up at 0.74 last night. Lucky I was driving by and saw it.

Actually the one on Yonge St north of Hwy 7 (by the Honda dealer) usually is the latest.
BTW....are you local to the Bayview & 7 area?

When I saw 89.5 by York U yesterday I thought it was a mistake since all the other stations on my way home had 70s. Today they were all 89.3 or 89.5. Of course the government is promising an "investigation" cough *BS* cough.

I live north of Elgin Mills, just south of 19th Ave. I take Bayview each day to and from the Finch subway station. We had a brief chat in the Tim Horton's lot at Yong/Bernard last year; and you've parked beside my T-Red SVT at Finch a time or two.

Isn't there a law that prevents that kind of thing, i don't exactly remember the "name" of the law but it has to do with, companies are suppose to be in competition, no monopoly. But if that is the case then, let's say that Esso is selling at 92.5 why would let's say Shell not keep it at 89.9. No instead they jack up the price , wouldn't Shell make more money and sales if they kept their prices at 89.9.
Hopefully you guys understand what i'm trying to say here

1.09/litre here in the bay..... talk about the gouging
WE ALSO GET
3.5 cents off for a discount but the companies just raise the price higher to counteract the 3.5 discount.
Safeway is the best place to buy gas cause if you shop there you get 3.5 off and then if you have a safeway card you get another 3.5 off so thats a cool 7 cents off..... Too bad the gas they get is crap (LIKE WEST COAST GAS)
prob like 82 octance... i can just hear the ping now!
