Is anybody familiar with the Weapon R Intake or have it installed on their SVT? After looking at their ads claiming 10-15 HP gains, I e-mailed them and they said the intake was available for the SVT. Just looking for some common knowledge on the subject to see if its a feasible mod. Any info would be appreciated.

It looks and sounds good. You may get 2-3 hp out of it, my butt dyno didn't really notice anything. You MIGHT get closer to 10 hp if you have already freed up the exhaust from headers all the way back.
BTW, I'm speaking in terms of the standard V6, not SVT

I used the Weapon R before my Cold Air Intake-Injen. No complaints, worked great.

How much does the Weapon R Intake cost? Im going to install a few mods real soon on the CSVT. I think a Y pipe and a Weapon R Intake might wake it up a little. Thanks for the info, Rod K.

Speed Demons, which is a better mod to make: the weapon R or the Cold Air Intake-injen? actually, what is your e-mail address? Im looking to do some of the same mods you have listed but I'm not familiar with some of them. Thanks in advance.

Nate, what was the installation like and does having the weapon-r intake void the ford warranty?

Sometimes I think putting a cupholder in the car would void the darn warranty. Can't see an intake kit voiding it though...doesn't interfere with emissions or internal parts. Later.

Im2nd2None, The Install was fairly easy.. took about an hour .. the only thing that you'll find to be a little difficult is matching up hose sizes from what the kit supplies and what the SVT's already have on them. With a little time though and alot of patients.. it'll go on easy. As for whether it voids the warrantee I couldn't tell you.. haven't had to take the car in .. I do most of the work myself. I don't imagine it voiding anything though. -Nate http://members.home.net/nate.is 98.5 SVT mods on.. mods to come..
