I have been wanting to do some mods to my new CSVT, and I have been doing a lot of reading about the Diablo Chip (available at CTA Motorsport). I am not sure as to exactly what it does or how much it would actually make a difference. I have already installed a cold air intake. I have read that having the intake will improve the performance. Anyone who has used one or knows how well they work, please let me know if it is worth it.
For some other mods I wanted to change the MAF and and want to know if the 75 mm MAF in the Mods sections, is what I should use. And would I be even better to go all the way to the 80 mm MAF.

unless, your going with some sort of forced induction, theres no reason to change the MAF you have, especially since your wanting to get a chip. I vote for skipping the Diablo and getting a Street Flight chip.

BINGO!
Mod your car with the usual bolt ons, do a few optimizing projects, underdrive pullies for the alt & power steering, then plunk down the cabbage for an apporpriately tuned Street Flight Superchip. The experienced programming will be worth it.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

My Street Flight tuned chip is a DiabloSport chip....they're now an SCT dealer.

Where do you get the Street Flight tuned chip?
I have not been able to get a CSVT yet but I am working on it. As soon as my house financing goes through I will be a proud CSVT owner.

i agree with these guys in that you should get some boltons out of the way and then get the chip so you arent constantly reburning. and i know the streetflight tuning to be the best option for a little more money but the diablo (custom tuned flip-chip) has worked out great for me and i am running a heavily modded 3L hybrid so its up to you based on how extensive you go with your CSVT and how much you are willing to spend.

Keep in mind, they're now an SCT dealer. Either way, I feel that Streetflight is the place to go for a chip.
