Amen to that...I've got those too!!! Of course....I've got around 130 hp less than you at the wheels, so they don't have to work as hard as yours! Please, please go to the track...I want to see what you run!!! ------------------ 95 Mystique LS Young America edition, V6, MTX, See my profile for details. http://www.geocities.com/FLCEG

I wouldn't even think about running that car in its current state. Those half shafts are as strong as a wet noodle right now, and a drag strip launch and shifts would probably be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Regardless, we probably would have been in Migalush's trunk if it weren't for those brakes. They're definitely on my priority list!

no juice... Some exhaust work, MSD DIS-4, Some Intake Cooling workshould put me around 300-310HP at the wheels. Steve Bassen said it correctly! I need new CV shafts... They need help! Also I don't know if you will see any official quarter mile times from my car because I don't drag race. I am a road racer, give me a road course to run on and I am completely at home. -Mark ------------------ What do you see? Look Again. Do you see Persaverance? Substance? Odds being trampled? Are you gonna get custom made CV shaft? Wow! That'll be expensive!!! Don't forget about the intermediate shaft to the right side though... You know what they say, "It's only as strong as the weakest link!" ------------------ AirKnight (Dominic Ho) Buffalo, NY

Looking at you torque numbers is interesting. I pulled about the same hp and torque 141. I wonder why the SVT engine makes more hp but not a lot more tq. Mark you should get very close with Euro *ahem* manifolds and SHOshop like y-pipe and the DIS-4. I think my SHO pipe made 10hp. Get Doug to make you something very close to mine and save some $$ with your own connections.

SNIP Look at a Ferrari's power rating on their engines - a$$load's more HP than Torque. To make torque you have to have a)large displacements b) boost c) basically an American V-8.... the SVT duratec is a multi-valve small displacement hi-revver, not a tarmac destroying 5.0L That is why MiStEGRYM should do well in roadracing.....

Well, I am a road racer, 1/4 mile times are somethign that really interest me... I just want to get my overall lap times down -Mark ------------------ What do you see? Look Again.
