OP stepmar2 CEG\'er S Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 163 Hell	Aftermarket OEM alternators require an extra lead wire to be spliced into the wiring harness and redirected to the charge terminal on the alternator. a D*CK SLAP IN THE FACE IS ALL I GET FOR STICKING MY NECK OUT FOR A FORD... PLEASE DELETE MY ACCOUNT!

I bought my replacement alternator from Autozone for my 2000 SVT and it was a direct connection, no splicing.
