Hey guys,
I've in process of swapping out my in tank fuel pump and I'll be danged if I can get the lines leading into the tank to pop loose so I can pull the top can and pump assembly out of the tank. The ford manual says to pop the retaining rings loose and pull the fuel lines off. I can get the rings loose, but I can't get the lines to budge and I don't want to break anything at this point.
This is on a return fuel system (returnless is much easier and a different setup). I have releived the line fuel pressure so there shouldn't be any pressure on the pump.
If you cna help today I want to finish this swap this afternoon as I'm hitting the dyno Saturday if all goes even close to right.
Thanks,
Rick
