Hey guys..... I need some ideas to make my tour look better than it is right now. more going towards the look first. $2,000 limit. Here are the things I am thinking about adding
What is the best kind to get for each item?

Tires/Rims?

Wing?

Body Kit?

Neons?

Clear tail lights (not sure if they make them for contours)?

First of all wing:
clear lights: i like them but none i know about.
Rims and tires: $800 bout
Neons: $100-$200
Springs and struts: $400-$800 depending on what u get... w/out installation
then $200 for tinted windows.

or

$2000 for a new paint job w/ decals

Man I wish I had that much $$$ to spend... but i'm goin off to college soon... ... but i know how to spend it

Steve

LOL Agreed on the wing, unless it flows with the lines and look of the car, which pretty much no aftermarket wings do. IMHO.
Neons: Where I live, we get ticketed pretty damn fast, and there's way too many dips and humps to safely drive with them, so that equals : Waste of Money
Body Kit: About all you can do is buy a Mirko Front Splitter, and then lower your car with some nice Koni struts and some springs (or is it vice versa? I'm tired.) and drop the rear a bit more than the front, as the Splitter will be VERY low when you install it already.
Clear taillights do not exist for the 'tours, they have NO aftermarket parts... market available for them. You can spray tint them, paint a few trim pieces on the car to make it cleaner, and stand out, such as the rear reflector, center grill oval, change out the grills to mesh, paint side mirror plastic parts, get carbon fiber sails or paint those too... change out the LED's on the interior to a color of your desire, check out the Group Buy. Tons of custom stuff for these cars, you just have to be creative, due to no available market for aftermarket upgrades like the 'stang, honda and acura and all dem boys get. Good Luck, keep us posted with pics on what you decide!

P.S. just search and browse the SH|t out of this site, and you will find all your answers, and if not, humbly post your queries.

$2,000.....I would go buy a fixer upper car. Why put neons and a wing on your car when it will just single you out as a member of the younger generation not to mention, cops love to go after people with stuff like that on their cars.

Personally I would just lower the car (springs/struts) and get some 17" wheels and save the rest for a rainy day. SE Side skirts would be good too and they aren't expensive at all. (Just picked up a pair for $20 )

I always make it go before show.

Anyway, since I consider suspension mods "go" mods, lower that sucker, and throw some 17's on there. That'll probably use up your $2k, but if you have anything left over, side skirts REALLY shnazz up a ride, as does window tint (but don't cheap out on that, for the love of god)
