I installed eibach pro-kit springs over the summer. I did it myself but had the springs put on the struts professionally. But when I put my struts back in and screwed everything down tight those black caps that sit on top of the strut towers were loose. I had to take them off and tighten down the strut bolt. This fixed the looseness but I remember the caps sitting right on the paint with the rubber ring touching when I had my stock springs. Now they don't. I dont understand why. Is there a reason for this or has anyone else had this happen? I shake the car around and see the strut move slightly from on top of the tower. Any suggestions?
