So im lookin at some rims... and i saw a few that i like... but the catch is theyre 5 bolt. now i know my mystique is 4 bolt and it raises an interesting question... not that i want to try it but just how difficult is it to change the rotors. i know it doesnt happen much but what are we talkin pricewise? anybody out there know? or even done it?

its not the rotor youll have to replace, its the knuckle and hub. I payed cost at a dealership for a knuckle and it was $185. I think the normal price was about $250. Perhaps the Jaguar X-type knuckle will fit.

I believe the ford Taurus hub and knuckle will work. I forgot who used it though....I believe it was the Capaldies.

is 5x108 more popular than 4x108? i dont recall seeing it that much during wheel searches.

It would kind of be a waste to switch over to the taurus bolt pattern. I used to have a taurus, and I had a very tough time finding wheels that fit. I think it is just as hard as finding 4x108, maybe even harder.

There are TONS of rims out there that are made for the Focus and Cougar which will also fit our cars.
