Had a 626 that took its first clutch @ 200000km's. This was 10000 km's after We bought the car and my GF and I both learned how to drive 5 Speed on it. The car was also 14 years old at the time. However it depends from car to car and how well the previous owners cared for their clutches. Still I wouldn't at this juncture buy anything but a 5 speed. Still prefer to feel like I am doing something behind the wheel.
