You think this site in any way affects the Contour's resale value? No.
The Contour's resale sucks because the car wasn't big enough for it's class. It had alot of recalls and was generally looked at as not being the most reliable thing on wheels. It took the tempo's place in Ford's lineup. A few people on an internet Forum won't change that.
I have the same problem with the Focus. It had a really sketchy first couple years. Sure it's considered reliable now, but those first couple years hurt it alot. Noe with cars like the SRT-4 out and the upcoming Cobalt I see things getting worse.
Yes the Contour is a breat car, the CSVT is amazing. That doesn't matter at all though and never will. Even in younger crowds, it has no place. It has no aftermarket so a 16 year old kid with a fistful of Mom's money to spend will look at Integras and Civics over it anyday. They probably don't even realise what the SVT version of the Contour actually offers.
