I wouldnt get crazy, If anything at all the Msds headders would be a good idea, maybe etrude hone the intake and get a SVT throttle body. Also look at your motor mounts if the poly type is in your future do it now.

Extrude honing is a way to improve flow through long intake runners that are not accessible by traditional machine shop methods. It involves an abrasive, putty-like substance that is "extruded" through the runners. It's one of the things they did to the duratec to make it an SVT.

I think SHO Shop also has some intake headers that are pre-honed.

"I think SHO Shop also has some intake headers that are pre-honed"

What exactly does an "intake header" look like?

If you are referring to the ported intake manifold that they are selling then it could get quite pricy. They charge you a core charge, so basically you pay $600 for the intake manifold, then you send them an SVT intake manifold and they refund you $300. The thing is that I think it has to be an SVT one, so if you don't have an SVT right now then you will end up spending like $600 for the intake manifold. For that price it would be better to get the headers.
