I will just have to put in more 60 hour weeks to pay for toys lol . Like before i will take pic's and post them after the install. Thanks for all your input guys . This will be ready for spring zing though so it should be a loud trip down.

Dave, Im not insulting your audio knowledge by any means, we all know you are the stereo guru. But have you had a chance to listen and compare them side by side? Here's just some of the specs.. ----------------------JL10W7---------MTX T9510-44
Xmax (one way)---------.90"-------------1.00" Xmech (peak to peak)---2.8"-------------4.00" Power (RMS/Peak)----500/1000w---------750/1500w Voice coil dia---------2.75"-------------3.5" Min enclosure vol. sealed/vented -------1.0/1.125------- 0.625/0.75
On top of that the MTX has a Rubber sorround, heatsink, and a much stronger alloy cone compared to the W7's foam and plastic.

Alpine: CDA-9835, MRV-F540, MRD-M550

First they selected the 10" version that gives them more favorable results. If they used the 12" versions of each, not only does the W7 have the advantage in Sd, but also in xmax. That is not even considering the W7s much flatter BL curve resulting in less distortion throughout its linear operating range. The 9500 overall would have a SPL advantage because of it's longer xmech, but that might not even be the case of the xmag doesn't allow the sub to utilize that excursion.
Don't get me wrong, the 9500 is a very nice sub and it may come very close to the JL, but don't buy into the specs they list on their site.

So are the w7 and 9500 the BEST speakers made. I wanna list some and see what you say PHoenix gold Cyclone (wiird fan one) Phoeinix gold titanium elite MTX RFL Rockford Team SPL Juggernaut Kicker Solo X Diamond Audio-really big one-i dont know what it is called Kenwood- new one- its pretty beefy-
I was just wondering what would be the best sub, and would like any insight on the Cyclone. Oh yeah-- is there any amps better then the PG Frankampenstein??

One of the reason i went with the w7 is JL name and rep for making a great sounding sub. I just dont want a sub to be lound and shake my car,(Any sub with enought wats can do that) but reproduce the note out of the music. I dont know if they do test for this but like a drum beat or a base gitaur and a base violine I just wounder wich sub would be the best at reproducing the excat note. i would bet JL but could be wrong i am no teck just some one that likes sound.
ps:sorry for the bad spelling i need spell check

Cyclone wasn't that good at all.. I went up against 4 cyclones with my 2 stroker 15's... there was no response until like 60hz.. Loud but not good sounding at all.
My list.. Cerwin Vega Stroker 15D2 MMat Juggernaut Diamond TDX Kove KMG(arrmegeddon U) Brahma W7 9500 ID Max 12v3.0 pss these are all SPL subs if you haven't noticed
Depends are you going with one amp technically or 2 like ampenstein was? I like the Memphis st16-1000d's and 2000d's but the distortion is a killer on them.. There are a lot of amp's that are as good if not better but i still love the Old School Soundstream and PG's and PPI
