Yeah, those W7's are slick, but expensive. Where do you guys get all this cash to waste on car audio stuff Oh well, what ever floats your boat.

Well I had 8.3 microsub for jl in my mustang and sold it and went with 3 10 mtx and was disopointed. I have looked at other subs but,I think the w7 is worth the money. I just want to do it once and be done. the only thing i want on this that i cant aford is a screen deck but that will be down the line. I am trying to get this done before spring zing but the amps are being shiped ups ground so that might be hard to do.

For your HU, don't bother with the 7998, overkill, seriously. I just bought one a few months back. It doesn't play WMA files. Also, the only thing it really has over the 9815 is that is has a phantom face and a nice display. Unless you are running a 3-way setup (no rear speakers) it won't have any real benefits. Don't get me wrong, I love the HU, but it's not worth it's price tag, even used. I bought it partially for bling value

The W7 is still the king of the low distortion long stroke subs (even over the 9500 and others), but probably not for long. Their are subs that are so similar in performance that the 200.00 premium just isn't worthwhile.

I am dumm i know i already have the HU i have had it for about a year and it realy sounded good sitting in the box i also bought it for the bling value and payed the great price $800 for some thing that does not have a built in amp. now i realy want a dam screen for the bling value but I am trying hard to not cave in and get it but we will see. I am going to have a 3 way set up in front and 2 way in back so the deck will help a little. Well i just handed over the credit card today so the sys will be ready on the 14. I will take some photos and post them when the sys is done. does anyone have any picks of a screen in there contour just woundering how much it interfears with the 3 nobs? thanks for all your input

I buy alot of Stuff for the bling value too..

Ok maybe not.. Theres a reason the deck cost that much and doesn't have a internal amp.. My Eclipse is the same way.

it will cover the knobs completely.

here's a pic, but it's not resized, so it's huge!
