i'd like to know the mechanic too...not because im looking for a big price break but just to have someone who works on a contour 
99 expedition eddie bauer, 5.4 v8, k&n drop-in, 3" magnaflow catback and gas mileage that makes the contour look like a hybrid

ok, first things first. my mechanic is in Mentone Beach CA.
he made the offer to cut the price because one I refer alot of work to him (family has five, mom one, sister one) plus all my friends, and two he's taking pitty on me after two wrecks and three motor rebuilds in the last year and a half (shouldn't give teenagers and moms cars) if you SOCAL guys want the number I will give it to you.he can work on everything with an engine and he is a darn good body guy he has tow service also and a welder on staff. PS. does replacing the whole front of the car count as a mod

hey folks, well talked it over with the wife and the mechanic, checked with two dealer parts guys and a local body shop on what parts are interchangable from year to year and on monday we start the tear down and start the rebuild. found a 95gl that is a complete front end with no dents, it even has a few inside plastic parts I need. will keep you guys up to date on the progress. I gonna try to post pics so you can see how its going.and for SOCAL Mentone Beach is east of Redlands in the IE off the 10 freeway
