Do you know some real criminals? They dont feel pressure, and they'll search the common places; glovebox, door pocket, and sunvisor. Want to know the real secret place? Under the seat, that's the spot!

I hide mine between the sunroof and sunroof cover. If it goes missing now everyone on this thread is a suspect!

I hide my faceplate in the glovebox, then lock the glovebox Besides, noone's gunna wanna break into a cheap lookin contour GL and see no faceplate, people normally assume the faceplate has been taken with, when I get the paranoid feeling, I put the faceplate in my bookbag when Im at school

I'm willing to bet that no one really assumes that you took it with you anymore these days. Thieves probably know that everyone thinks they're just going to assume it's gone. I think that the fair majority of people are lazy and throw it in their glovebox, or under their seat, or in their 'super clever' map pocket.
But whatever makes you feel safe I guess.

i HAD friends who were rather good at taking things that didnt belong to them... didnt matter much they would break into the car, take the cd's money in the change drawer etc... whenever a stereo was taken they always managed to find the face.... just take it with you, i know it can be annoying... look at the pics on my website under audio and youll understand what i mean, mine is bulky and annoying but i never leave it in the car

Mine stays on the radio 90% of the time, but when I do take it off it comes with me. If its during school its in my book bag, sometimes I have to leave the car in a parking lot when we go on trips, then it goes in with the luggage. When I had the radio in my truck it got locked in the glovebox, but they decided not to include this handy feature on the contours...
