Who launched the attack on America? Americans, that’s who..
Consider the following:

1. This act required big time money and intelligence

Just a little viewing of airline schedules on a computer. Hardly big time. I could put together a coordinated hijacking schedule for you in a couple of hours. I'd do it in minutes, but I'm still using dial-up connections. I have my own home & family & pay for this line, not my mommy & daddy.

2. This act required high level military co-ordination

Again, airline schedules from a computer and one guy to tell the others which planes to board. Don't even need phones, could relay info by mail - no chance of leaks that way. Assuming the targets were already chosen, no other instruction needed. No biggie there either.

Interesting to see you disagree with the Bush administration.

After all, they are the ones who have pressed the claim that many millions of dollars were funneled through terrorist cells for a period of years while the attack was being planned. True, the flight training took time and worked to their advantage, but they may have been able to do without it.

And the US Government did do it - I saw it on TV in March (pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen).

OK, maybe that was just a stupid TV show. So, the FBI, the CIA, the Millitary, the NEC, and Hollywood all considered the use of planes as weapons - but as Condoleezza Rice said: "I do not remember any reports to us, a kind of strategic warning, that planes might be used as weapons."
