They are a fairly helpless, extremely poor country... look at the fallout from the train wreck... completely unprepared, and had to reluctantly accept help from South Korea. Furthermore, they don't have any significant backing... name one major ally they have? they're the last significant communist regime in power... you could count Cuba, but I could count Lichtenstein and we'd be about even.
There is, however, a difference... a HUGE one at that... between regime change in a country that is TRYING to DEVELOP WMDs (whether they had them or not, that has been proven), and regime change in a country that is known to have nuclear arms and has a propensity for firing missles over the head of its neighbors...
Symptoms: Muddling of the facts, lemming-like following of liberal media, general malaise regarding "logic".
