the ones of the US soliders tortureing Iraqi prisoners and the prisoners are in the nude?
It is no surprise me to that almost the whole World hates us, why shouldnt they?
We have destroyed Iraq, and our "leader" has lied to the whole World several times over. He said they have weapons, they are a huge threat, Saddam must die, and stuff similar to that. So very reluctanty most of the World jumps on the bandwagon and heads over there, kills msot likely more than 100,000 people, and finds no weapons.
This makes leaders of the countries that followed Bushs lead look bad.
Now to top it off it comes out that we are actually tortueing people over and the soliders in the photos are similing about doing it!
It is no surprise that so many people and so many countries hate us, look at what we have done.
I seriously hope Bush doesnt keep his job and that someone who wouldnt wreck the country gets into office.
Bush has sent this country into a downward spiral and it will take about a decade to recover from what this terrorist himself has done.
I wouldnt be surprised if we did have another terrorists attack and sadly folks I do agree with the people that say we deserve it, after all look at what we have done.

Ive noticed youre pretty bad at stating your political opinions. **Clarification** Im not saying youre stupid or anyting , in general most people are bad at stating political opinion.

On a more reasoned note, Im not so sure that the high-command knows about this. There is no reason to piss on prisoners , it doesnt garner any information. Although I figured United States soldiers would be reasonable enough not to do this deplorable [censored], so Im not sure how much confidence I should have in the commanders. However , as commanders they are likely reasonably intelligent , they know how wrong this is , and it gains nothing for them; that is to say nothing of the moral values most Americans have.
Why does this reflect upon all Americans , and America in general? I live in America , in the center of America. We dont piss on people or shove chem lights up eachothers asses. Most Americans are moral people , and sensible people. This is the case of a group of [censored] up soldiers in a war zone going hog wild. War [censored] people up, during all modern wars soldiers have done things which would normally be unthinkable; however this should not be an excuse , merely a tiny rationalization
PS- Mr.Fari, I said nothing of what the Arab view would be , I would not expect it to be too rational given historical precedent. However , I would expect a westerner , and likely an American or European to react with a tiny shread of rationality, however Hangly did not.

Twin towers get bombed, Bin Laden behind it, US attacks IRaq and has a reward for Sadams head etc etc etc, they still are there bombing and fighting etc etc etc. Why when they know that Bin Laden was behind the most devasting attack on US history would they not be putting forth the same effort in capturing/attacking Bin Laden and Afganistan> PLease explain. I'll be back later with my views.

FOLLOW THE MONEY (A Liberal view on Twin Tower bombing)
Who launched the attack on America? Americans, that??s who..
Consider the following:
1. This act required big time money and intelligence
2. This act required high level military co-ordination
3. This act does not financially profit anybody in any desert country ( unless they were being paid by someone
??over here? that stands to gain a profit).
4. Who stands to gain a profit? Defense contactors and oilman; building contractors Billions?
5. George Bush came to power on the promise to lower taxes and by giving everyone a rebate (he bought the vote). Now that he is in power, he is stealing the social security money for arms and missile defense (contracts worth billions). Knowing that the social security trust fund ( which is just a bunch of IOU??s anyway) will be inadequate because of George??s doings, the baby boomers are a short time away from pressuring the money away from expensive defense contracts such as missile defense. Billions will be taken away from the defense contractors?? income. A big undeniable reason for increased and sustained defense spending was needed. So Whamo ! Who will stand up now and say that they are not in favor of big defense spending? ( Just wait till you here the line, ?? With missile defense system in place we could avert these types of attacks?
6. Immediately after the attacks, the scapegoat ( or real culprit funded by the big boys back home) was pointed at. No evidence was in yet of course but they wanted everyone to look at the scapegoat right away.
7. Now that the big oilmen have got George (The Oilman) Bush in charge ( Notice that all his appointees are pro-oil), they stand to gain big from such a friend in the Presidential seat. But if George gets tossed for scamming the social security or being the cause of a big downturn then the oilmen stand to lose big. So lets take everyone??s mind off the problem and unite everyone behind the president. Later we can blame the high expenditure ( and thus the downturn) on the necessary defense spending that everyone will agree was justified. ( notice what the first commodity was to increase in price following the attack ??OIL??
