Anybody's truck or full sized car with a hitch and rent a tow dolly. The tow dolly will be well under $100 for two days - Probably under $50.
The parents should be willing to help with renting the dolly. If not, there is some greater issue at work here...
Perhaps they have concerns about this vehicle.
