I know I saw a show on TLC where they dropped the 430 into an IS, and it was lexus sponsored..... perhaps that was their test car, but it was damn quick, I think 0-60 in 5.6 and 1/4 in high 12's low 13's. I saw it like 2 weeks ago, so those numbers might be off but the car was sweet, and handled and drifted like a champ. God i love fast 4 drs..... If i ever get rich my garage will be full of 'em- S4, IS430(I'll drop it in myself if i have to), my SVT 'tour, E55, M5, it'll be good times. Have fun with your car, I'm jealous!
They had the IS430 at the NYC auto show. Funky red and black paint job. But the idea of a V8 in a car that small was quite enticing. They listed 0-60 in 5 flat, but the 1/4 mile figure you gave is accurate from what I remember. I'd definitely look into buying one (a 430) if the price wasn't too outrageous.

Nice car, enjoy it!
I tried to balance it out with something positive... To each his own. The IS300 is a pretty nice car period. The low $30K range is hoppin' with sweet rides: BMW 325, Acura TSX, Nissan Maxima, Lexus IS300. I can't stop myself from rolling my eyes at slushboxes, though; see my sig. (though you have to read George RR Martin to get it anyway; I know, "You fantasy nerd, get a life!" NEGATIVE COMMENT! Whuddya mean, I'm the one who said it?! )
I'm not making any sense, am I? Oh well... Again, enjoy the IS300!
