I seriously doubt that is the problem. More likely the dynamics of a nationless enemy hiding amongst the civilian population is the big sticking point. The typical Iraqi is not who we're after, so we've got to be doubly sure of who we target.

If the general public knew of only a portion of the things that are classified, it would scare them S#$%less. If we don't keep secrets then the enemy can learn how we get our information. Things get classified for a reason. Beleive me, if it was important for you to know you wouldn't care about what was just presented to you. From personal experience, the more classificaation something has the more boring it is.
I forget who said it earlier to Support our troops, not the war. For too long it has been used and it needs to stop. It is a slap in the face to every single military member, past or present. To say that one supports the troops but not the job we are doing is disgraceful. I cannot believe that by something so idiotic one can believe that they are supporting us. When I come home I do not want to be welcomed by anyone that has ever uttered those words.

You seem to forget who is the largest, highest technology, smartest, and most powerful military in the world.
In some places in the world, you steal bread you lost your hand. In the U.S. you steal bread its like, uhh here is your first warning, it was only bread. Who do you think would have more crime, the people who cut the hands off or the US. The US would have the higher crime. When there is harsh punishment for small things and large. Would I want to still go steal that piece a bread. Hell no. I don't need to steal it, but hey, i wouldn't be doing it. Military/Police might, is what a country is built on. If we didn't have might, our country could be taken easy. We have might for many reasons.
Now let me ask you this, if you were a cold blooded killer who hated a certain race, or a people who were a certain religion. Do you think me asking you nicely, or threatening to kick your childish ass, would help solve the problem. No, if I locked your ass up, and let you out ten years later. Would it help, 10% maybe. If I beat the [censored] out of you everytime something happened that you did. You probably would just learn to keep your [censored] mouth shut, and your thoughts to yourself.

ok before you have input in another political conversation please make sure you actually read up on the topic and not simply catch the news headline from the 10 o-clock news.
and you obviously need to look up the word "inadequate" in the dictionary. The US has actually witheld troops from Iraq. Yes over 30,000 troops that were supposed to be deployed were not because there was no need. And you liberalistic pigs have the nerve to say that might start up the draft again!!!!!!!! Thats the most ridiculouse things I've ever heard. Its a dirty liberal tactic circulated on an election year to scar off young potential republican voters. Sorry kinda got a little off topic there.

Actually, it was Senator John McCain who I heard on the radio talking about restarting the draft (and ways to make it lead to a better force than during the Vietnam era). Are you saying that Senator McCain is a "liberalistic" (interesting word) pig? Then who do you consider to be a conservative?

Maybe it's you who needs to be better informed.
The recent calls for consideration of reinstating the draft came from Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. To play devils advocate for a moment, I will also let you know that Congressman Rangel (D)of NY did or tried to introduce legislation last year to the same effect. Doubt me ?? Google it up.
Is Chuck Hagel a dirty liberal ? Is he a liberalistic pig ?? Why would he come out with such a statement ??
