98 contour 4 cyl auto-100k miles
replaced TSS about 4 months ago to fix the 1-2 bang shift.Now I have a new problem. second gear holds for an additional 700 rpms's, then finally upshifts. Then the tranny WILL NOT shift into O/D and the O/D light continues to flash and the transmission does not go into overdrive. If I feather through second and third gear after sitting (tranny is cold) it will flash the OD dash indicator, but will also not go into overdrive. The fluid looks decent-still red and no burnt smell and I replaced the TSS again today without any change.
Also-no cel codes thrown-I scanned it with a hand held OBDII Mac scanner-but no tranny diagnostics yet.
Could this be the range selector?
Has anyone had the same or similar tranny problems?
