there is a huge difference...
The rear sway bar keeps the car from leaning in turns. Ever take a turn hard and notice how the rear of you car is leaning? The rear sway bar is considered to be essential mod for improving the handling of your car. It's even considered so important that in SOLOII racing the installation of a rear sway bar moves you up a class. So, do this one first. The rear strut tower bar keeps the rear of the car from flexing. This helps improve handling by allowing you suspension to so it's job and not having body flex become a suspension member. If your trying to decide which to do first do the rear sway bar, you'll notice that. Then the rear strut tower bar, then the front strut tower bar.

www.tuningzubehor.com They don't list any Contour stuff on the page, but you can request a free catalouge or call them up. My freind used to work there so I got it at cost, I'm not sure what it retails for.

Front and rear sway bars are standard on contiques. Some models have heavier/stiffer bars than others, and even stiffer aftermarket parts are available. I recently installed a rear strut tower brace and was really surprised at the improvement. A great low-cost suspension upgrade IMHO. ------------------ Scott 95 SE-2.5L ATX

I have the SHO Strut Tower braces front and back, makes a big difference to the "feel" of the car both at street speed, but espescially on the track!!! I just had a day of running laps at the local track up here (Mission Raceway), and combined with the BAT 22mm Rear sway bar and bushings (front and back)it honestly felt like a different car!! (Yes...that's a slight exaggeration), but you get the point. Kinda wish I'd done one mod at a time and taken it to the track after each...all in all though, I would highly recommend strut braces!!!
