I owned a 2001 Grand Prix GT prior to buying the SVT. It had some nice pickup from the get-go but it was slow on pickup at highway speeds. Plus its electronically limited to only 105 MPH. So from the ownership experience, these are always the fun ones to play with because I know I'll come around in the end.

I saw one on the road the other day when I was going 90 in the passing lane n some kid decided to tailgate me. I dont know if he was playing friendly or j@cka$$ but that 105 is a joke. Smiled when I saw him become a pea in my rearview.

Does anyone know the top speed of the GTPs?
