Porsche has made some absolutely horrid cars over the years. Like the 914, which managed, incredibly, to combine the worst qualities of the Fiat X1/9, the Chevrolet Vega, and the Simca Ariane, all in one impressively ugly package. (And yes, I know that Porsche has tried over the years to disown the 914, saying it was designed by Audi and built by VW, but still...ours was ALMOST as unreliable as our '77 BMW 320i, and that's saying something.)
