You're talking about the reflectors that are lit up here right?
Well, i think to get stuff to light up in there you would probably have to take the lights apart. But something that would work real well to light it would probably be electroluminescent foil...the stuff indiglos are made of. Search on ebay and the net, you can cut it to whatever shape, its real cool.
