I don't see why they wouldn't work to well, i need stuff to keep my mind off other things. I am gonna go take some pictures of the trunk and see how much of a gap there is between the trunk and the floor of the water ways.. whatever they are called.

okay, so from these pictures there isn't much room, and well it would be a pain in the ass, and require welding and such.




Now, when looking at the ones that are there it looks like they have tabs that you just remove and the strut comes off. Now just to find ones that are the same size but have more power to them.

Could there be a gas charged version that compressed when you close and pushes when you open?
