OK, I've checked the accordian hose and everything I can see and listen to. I don't hear any hissing.

I have kept this car in extreme clean condition... so I would see any cracks. It all looks new.

So, you are saying it could be a gasket or it could in deed be the O2 sensor?

It will most likely be the gaskets. A dead O2 would throw a dead O2 code.

Be sure to check the vac hose that goes under the UIM, it has been known to come loose. The fittings on top of the UIM have been known to become damaged during routine maintenance, and follow those rigid tubes around & see if you can find a cracked, disconnected or loose tube. Also, there is a hose that runs near the water pump belt & pully that has been reported to get cut by the pully - check it.

Some folks spray carb cleaner around at the vac tubing & gasket areas to find leaks. If the engine stumbles or you get a slight mis-fire when you spray a particular area, that is where you focus your attention.

'Bout all I can do from here. Good luck.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
