I've known about this site for a while but just got around to regging. I really don't know much about cars. I saw a black SVT 'tour getting off of I-5 at Federal Way a couple weekends ago. It had a body kit on and had a CEG decal on the rear window. Just wondering who's it was.

Welcome, you will probably see my car around Federal Way on a regular basis. I own a 99 se sport, with side skirts, and two big CEG stickers on the back windows. I don't even know the specifics. Just know its a '96 Contour with all stock everything. I'm in the process of putting a sound system in. I'm 16 and very inexperienced with cars. I was surprised to see how active this forum is, hopefully I can learn a thing or two.

Plan to just spend a few days searching archives, there's so much good info about these cars on this site, including things a dealer's mechanics don't know (or are not allowed to share).
About your car, you must know whether you have a 4-banger or a V-6, and you must know whether you have an automatic or manual trans. Right?
