HEY all once again. i dont know if any of you seen my pics of my old setup, but its being totally redone seeing that my birthday is wendsday the 28th woho. So what i am buying it the audiobahn A2200HCT http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewitem.php?id=60 1600 watt rms sub at 1 ohm stable. It will be pushing my two old A1206T flame q series 12 inch subs that run at 1100 watt rms a peice (dual 4 ohm voice coils). The subs will be wired so that each is a 2 ohm load and then both wired together so that i have a final load of 1 ohm(beauty of audiobahns 1 ohm stable amps). To back up the audiobahn arsenal ill be installing my chrome 1 farad audiobahn capacitor. should be a really sweet looking chrome hookup. and should pound pretty damn hard. obviously alot louder than my old pyramid 1600 max amp. Next week the amp will be arriving and ill try to get pics up when i get everything installed asap. LET ME KNOW WHAT YA think!!! team audiobahn here i come

It also sounds amazing. I have been in a s-10 with two 10 inch flameq8's. running at one ohm at 2400 watts. It is so powerful i start to feel sick. plus the sound quality is great. Good choice.

i think "great" is a bit of a stretch. they don't sound like total ass, but they sure do look nice! they are severely overpriced, however.

Agreed, heck, the bazooka I used to have in my fiero sounded "great" because it was in such a tight area. When your vision gets blurred by the vibrations to the point where you can no longer make out the center line on the road, and you start shaking the rear-view mirror on the car NEXT to you, then you know you've got something powerful. Until then

Listen to some low distortion, SQ subs like a Lambda, ED, Adire, ID, etc... and then tell me what you think.
BTW, I've gone through two pair of Audiobahn subs. They used to be a pretty good value when they came out, as their prices were absolutely rock bottom from places like competitionsound.com. But, now their value/$ IMO is near the bottom of the list. Their aesthetics are first rate, tho! They're a good choice for average sound with great looks, provided you're willing to pay the money.

Try looking around before you buy things you can get them cheaper then you think.

gee...thanks!!
let me rephrase.... they look nice, sound average (at best) and even at their cheapest, are overpriced.
