Well at least my question as to automobile value stirred conversation. Yes the car has all bells and whistles other than a sunroof and leather. Reliability on these vehicles is questionable, that is why I will sell it. At least I can work on the Mercury Tracer I have (Mazda 323 with Ford engine). The Contour sure drives nice though. The troubleshooting forum helped me fix the idle problem I was having. Thanks.

Well when I said maybe, I meant maybe as the high side. Now that I think about it, that would probably be above what anyone would pay. But occasionally you get lucky and find some sucker willing to pay that much.
And when I said pre98s are better I was definitely kidding, because yeah only a CEGer would realize the advantages of a pre98 over a 98+ (non-svt). Anyways, I'd pay $2500 for it.
