Looks great , auiotour ! Good pics to go along too . I've had a pre-98 console (with all the fixin's) sitting around for about 2 yrs. now & still haven't done the swap . I've just gotta make the time to do it , I suppose . I actually forgot about it , until I bought my house this past July & had to move it . I need a new shift boot and a cupholder & it's 100% complete . Maybe I'll do it this summer (along with some other mods I've had sitting around for years now) . Heck , I barely get the car out & drive it anymore .

Qwk98SVT - Are the 90-95 Taurus cupholders the ones that go into where the cubby-hole is on the pre-98 consoles ?? If so , I night have one of those too .

Just wondering, see the two slots on the right side of your new console there, apparently they were at one point cup holders you pushed and the popped out..... mine are missing too.... anyone know where you can get new ones?

i will be doing this very soon also, but I got mine for $10 from another CEGer, but I need to get boots and a cup holder

did you have to move the wires alot to get everything to work?

also it seems that everything seems to line right up, is this the case? you only had to drill holes to mount the rear of the console right?

also you know how the arm rest comes off?

thanks for the info

Post 98 rocks my word. SOOO much better. Cups can take .89g's before spilling!!!

holy [censored]!!!!! i got jipped on my cupholders then....you must have got damn fine set of cupholders as opposed to my rubber inserts in a plastic hole....

on post97 tours, the air bag module is located below the ebrake when its not active. you can see it in some of the pictures.

this was a very simple, mod. I have to buy cup holders for my car still. As for that shift boot for a manual. If you want one, there is another car at the junk yard that has one. I can clean it up and ship it to you. $6.00 with shipping.
