Hmmm.. I like the 6 wiper idea. Really though, if you think its an eye catcher go for it, I just don't think I know anyone that likes those.
By the way, I guess I should clarify. Its not that lots of ricers do that, its that the WORST ones do that. The ones with type-R on their neons. They'll not only change to a single wiper, they'll make it yellow (with spray paint).. then spray paint a couple other parts yellow too.
