Heh well it would be different in my town, I don't know what "lots and lots of ricers" do everywhere else but where I live there is one person who has one wiper and it is on a black vw rabbit and sits in the middle of the windshield.
And yes Two > One, Seven > Six and so on.
It's nice to be symmetric, but if you can pull something off that can be functional and an eye catcher it's also a good deal.
Maybe I should try 3 mini-wipers, like one that comes down from the top of the windsheild...
