The only single wiper system that I've seen that worked as well as two wipers was the Mercedes system. The blade wipes one side, then returns to the vertical position, then moves down vertically a couple of inches, then wipes the other side of the winshield. The system is really complex compared to a regular two wiper system, and it actually looks rather stupid when it is on. I would say leave your two wipers, they do a good job, and they don't look that bad.

heh it's not supposed to be better other than it looks different. It was raining pretty well today and I didn't even need to use my wiper after waxing about a week ago, maybe I'll just rainx and lose the wipers altogether.
I just think wipers are annoying.

I had to run a single pass. wiper when some fcuk a s s decided to rip off my wiper arm completely off. I drove with it like that for about 2 weeks. I hated it dumb idea. Don't do it

yeh I went out and cleaned my windshield and put wipers back to normal when I got home from work today.
maybe I'll build my own wiper that spans the whole windshield and goes from top to bottom...

the xj8 single wiper system works good and they have used it for years. it is a simple set up. but has a large mechanism under the cowl. i don't know if it would fit.

Focus your time and energy on some other mod, the one wiper looks tacky.
