I use Ohm's law every day.
I'm taking a few Microsoft Excel lessons. I didn't know that Spreadsheets could do so much. I thought spreadsheets would be like using a calculator but they can do more than a calculator.

Yea, Excel is pretty powerful. Mom is treasurer for her service group, and I've caught her using a regular calculator to add up numbers in her tables. She has that big fancy calculator with a 17" screen right in front of her, but she still searches out the tiny little thing to add numbers up. And she's made mistakes in transferring numbers back and forth. Oh well. I've started showing her some of the more "advanced" functions, like SUM

All the "stat pack" stuff in Excel (which I used to do on a K&E log-log decitrig slide rule)...and lots of English to Metric conversions (why DID the Republican Congress trash the Metrification of the U.S. back whenever it was...the late 80's?) Anyway, I do know that if I want the Army Corps of Engineers to dredge a 19.2 meter shipping channel over a 42-foot-deep highway tunnel, I've got big problems...or a lot of wet cars.
