All I know is a Tiburon is a POS since it holds a Hyundai badge... And it looks small, sh!tty, and My contour GL, w/ Zetec engine & ATX out-performed it from 0-50 (Speed-limit)

I own a 2000 Tropic green CSVT and would trade it for a new Tiburon w/v-6 and manual trans.

my boss has a 2004 GT v6 tiburon w/6spd , and he beat me and my tour had 165hp 165tq to the wheels and i ran 15.2's all the time at the strip........ he beat me pretty good to the new ones are nice IMO. who cares if it's a hyundia it has a better warranty than the tour , hell if i had that warranty id still hav my tour but that is a story for another day i was very happy to unload mine even though i did love it ....

Not damn likely - the new 6 tib's are a match for MTX Tour V6's, just a bit behind an SVT.
Dyno comparo, my car to v6 tib:
Below 5200 it'll b pulling on me...

If hyundai offered a 240HP 4 door with an MTX for less than a Mazda 6 and it had the same warranty and good handling like the tib I'd consider it though!
