How are your gains. Is it worth the money and effort to install.

The Weapon-r headers are basically an exact rip off of the msds headers. The gains are the same.

Gains are the same (design rip-off like you said) but the quality is not.

Weapons-Rice are very thin & brittle SS. Cheap & sloppy welds from what I have read too.
Not exactly what I would want for the repetetive heat cycling that a header goes through.

That is once you modify them to work on our car of course. (EGR tube & O2 differences)

They also carry no warranty at all either.

Morale of the story is just get a set of MSDS headers from Marty.

If you want them "shiny" forever, buy them uncoated and send them to jet hot/swain/etc yourself.

However my headers, with the revised "silver" coating, have lasted for nearly 3 years and still look like they did the day I put them on.

Yes I painted them with ThermoTec paint (several coats) first and then here just again last fall (when the powertrain was out)
