I love all the colors. One visit at the dealer with some friends there was a yellow msp directly under lights, which were turned off. The sales guy turned the lights on (hid) and I just wet my pants because it looked so good.

Yes, I am on msprotege.com as mdaj.

Same here. They said it was supposed to be that way. Sorry. For an Infiniti, that just won't cut it.
Nice car though.

My test drive was ok, getting use the 6 speed may be your guy's problem. I test drove a Cobra and a G35 and well the 6spd gave me a problem in each (had to try all 6 though ) Not so much a problem, but they were tight and short shifts. The shifter in an SVT is like butter though and will make anything feel bad. As for interior, what are you guys looking at, this thing is a thing of beauty compared to our warped dashs. No Ford interior (Prior to 05 stang) looks this good.

As for the diff from Z to G, G has a back seat, Z doesnt. THe Z is more "cockpit" type layout and is more race inspired. If you do not like the G35 dash, the Z will probably fit your tastes. If they only came with a back seat though......

BTW, my G35 is a 6MT Coupe in Diamond Graphite. It came with the factory chin spoiler and splash gaurds. Basically everything but Nav. 1st mods are Exhaust, plenum, z tube and pop charger like mentioned and down the road TT

Almost forgot I visit G35driver and my350z, the latter being a more technical site. The G35driver guys seem less mechanically inclined. Not a lot of D.I.Y'ers buy this car I guess....LOL

well I dont think the shifter in the SVT is like butter by any means I know mine sucks and so does kung fu joes. my RX7 is like butter and so is my old jeep it was butter. I def like the Z interior better though. I am not much of one for the G35 but I am comparing something to something that i havent driven mainly the Z

I want to pick up a g35 coupe so bad, but I have to wait and see what the 2005 model interior looks like. From what I hear it should be out in August or September so I will just have to wait a little bit longer. If there isn't much change then I will just pick up a used 03/04 with low k's and save a few bucks. Sweet rides guys I'm jealous!

there's a DG/G 6MT coupe at my local dealer right now w/ *every* option (4-piece aero, navi, sirius, even those ugly body side mouldings....MSRP = >$39k), and seeing that one w/ the chin spoiler was what convinced me to get it. i actually thought the one i got was coming w/ the splash guards, but those are easily added (and will be on the car by this weekend). kinda glad i'm adding the chin spoiler myself, though, since weirdly enough the 4-piece aero is a port-installed option, meaning that the car comes from the factory w/o the spoiler....meaning it has the 3rd brake light in the back glass *and* the one in the spoiler. not cool, imho - i'd want the dummy 3BL on the rear parcel shelf to be removed and the shelf replaced w/ a factory regular-aero piece....jmho, though.

not sure if i'm going to change the exhaust or not....it sounds so awesome stock, and i'm a bit hesitant to mess with it. i'll probably end up w/ the JWT PC, and perhaps the plenum....maybe the cats....who knows.

re: forum demographics: seems like freshalloy is more older, more mature guys, which is nice in the sense that there aren't many spoiled brats or punks on there, but simultaneously there's just not a whole heck of a lot of posts of interest to me. your comments about G35driver and my350z seem spot-on from my impressions as well.
