2004 infiniti G35 coupe 6MT - mods so far: clear corner lamps, and after tonight, the baffled and resonated stock G35 intake tube between the throttle body and airbox will be replaced with the straight, uncomplicated 350z intake tube. next up will be tint, and probably the factory chin spoiler and splash guards.
Thats funny sh!t, I pick up my 04 G35 6MT in DG this week. You visit any of the G35/350z Boards?

I've posted pics of my Mazda6 before, but I took one last night of a parking light mod that I did after installing Eyelids and HIDs. The yellowish parking lights immediately had to go once the HIDs got in there:

Depends!
If you want an inexpensive, quick, nimble, and sparce interior, the 350 is your car.
If you want a expensive, not as quick, nimble, and luxurious interior, the G35 coupe is your car.

I didnt find the G35's interior to be "luxurious" to say the least.. but I wanted to know if it was me.. I like the G35 but the 350Z to.. so if the Z's interior was close or the same as the G I would go with the Z's.. Havent been in the Z's thats why I asked..

cool! i'm loving mine so far - i'll hit the end of the break-in period by the end of the day, so 6500 rpm redline, here we come!
are you getting a coupe or sedan?
as far as forums for the G35, i usually skim the freshalloy.com boards most often but also hit g35driver.com and my350z.com as well. every now and then i'll look at 6mt.net, but it seems pretty dead. any others i'm missing?
fwiw, i just ordered the front chin spoiler and splash guards on friday....should have those by the end of the week. got the z-tube on last week, still thinking about the JWT pop-charger to go with it....

mine is fine....not sure what you mean by rough, but i have no complaints about it. the shifter is a touch on the notchy side, but not objectionably so. i kinda like the mechanical feel of it anyway, so it works for me.

haven't sat in a 350z coupe, but i wasn't all that impressed w/ the 350z roadster's interior due to the large, plain expanses of hard plastic on the doors and elsewhere. the G35 seems to have broken up the interior w/ additional soft surfaces as compared w/ the 350z, and so to me it seems a bit nicer. i like the design of the G35c better as well, but that's quite subjective. i'd consider the infiniti interior to be better on the sole basis of having a rear seat, but that's just me. i needed at least a tiny bit of utility....and the Z doesn't have much storage room at all, even beyond the obvious seating capacity differences.

Same here. They said it was supposed to be that way. Sorry. For an Infiniti, that just won't cut it. Nice car though.
