They don't sell worth a crap in Europe except for the deisels. Hardly saw any on the road while I was in DE for three months. A nice ST220 wagon belonged to my neighbour though. I would by a two year old M5 before a Mondeo.

both FWD, i didn't mention engine and tranny tho for a reason. The TL is a more expensive car and you'll get more, I was merely referring to the sporty effect (recaro seats, aggresive body)it has over the TL. Sure those are little things but IMHO, in general more aggresive sporty, whilst the TL is classy sporty.

my whole point is in the $30,000 bracket there is a lot of competition out there..
imho the 04 TL is A LOT more aggresive than the mondeo in every way.. both 4 door sports sedans.. you can have many good cars in the $32,000 range to.. i only mentioned it because someone said the mondeo would sell here in the $30k range..

This Mondeo is a nice car, but the USA is finally getting a new mid size next year, so everyone can quit complaining! SVT versions are very possible. It was to be called 'Futura', but now has to get a new name, thanks to Pep Boys. At the NY Auto Show, they showed the Lincoln Zepher version. Mercury's may be called the 'Milan'. Europe gets a new Mondeo soon. too, With rumours of a name change, and a "crossover" version, too

Eh, Ford and GM executives have head up their asses, I've said it time and time again.
Personally though, I like the 6's styling much better than the new mondeo's.
