Well, since I finally found leak #3 and fixed it, it's time to build a new floor in the trunk. I've decided to go ahead and put soundproofing in before I reassemble it. I was looking on the internet and found the Dynamat trunk kit for $56.00 + $20.00 shipping through CMT Trading on Ebay. First off, is the Dynamat kit a decent kit? Has anyone had experience with the kit, and was it enough to do the entire trunk? I am wanting to do the entire trunk floor including underneath the donut, sides, rear deck/shelf, and the entire trunk lid(inside of course :p ). Is it possible with that kit? I figured it was a good price(crutchfield sells for $125), but I want to make sure it was enough to do all of it. Thanks guys

The trunk kit will not cover the entire trunk. I was able to do the trunk lid with the heavy duty piece, the spare tire well itself and the flat part around the spare tire well. I had none left over for the sides, the wheel wells or the package tray.

I would go with this instead, more expensive but you get 70 sq. ft. and it is as good as Dynamat eXtreme at about half the price, Brown Bread . You should be able to do the entire trunk and your doors with this.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll go with the Brown Bread. Do you think that 72ft roll would do all four doors as well? FWIW, I was looking at a 32ft of extreme for $150. Thanks again guys! laugh

EDIT: actually read Ripsters reply. Disregard door question! wink
