I talked with Chris (he's the CEGer) at Jerry's Ford and it went well so I sent him an email listing the problems - waterpump leaking coolant, 3rd gear grinding, broken trunk release, leaking drivers-side door, and busted headlight housing. Apparently he is the only one there who works on Contours because they are a pain in the ass to working on so nobody else wants to.
So, so far so good, I am hoping (and trusting) that there will be no need for me to consider towing it all the way to Michigan.
